My photography takes inspiration from my dad's love of documenting our childhood.
I started out many years ago as a hobbyist photographer drawing inspiration from my dad's love for documenting the childhood of my brother and I as we were growing up.
Even though I would complain at the time when he was taking our photographs, I realised later that these images represent moments in time that are here today and gone tomorrow. They're incredibly significant to look back on and remember our life's story, and to pass down to our family to remember who we are and where we have come from.
So even though our memories fade, photographs keep these people, places, and experiences alive forever.
This is what makes me love what I do and put my heart into my work.
